The Environmental Center
The Environmental Center is a Bend-based nonprofit focused on making sustainability part of everyday life in Central Oregon. The organization provides education, resources, community programs, and advocacy around waste reduction, climate solutions, youth education, school gardens, energy, and sustainable living.
For families, The Environmental Center offers hands-on youth education, outdoor learning opportunities, school garden programs, seasonal camps, community events, and resources for making more environmentally conscious choices at home. Its youth programs are designed to help children understand their relationship with the natural world through hands-on learning in classrooms, gardens, and outdoor spaces.
