Family Resource Center of Central Oregon
Family Resource Center of Central Oregon supports parents and caregivers through education, practical resources, support groups, and opportunities for family and community connection.
The organization offers programming for families across many ages and stages, including parenting classes, early-childhood activities, support for parents of neurodivergent children, foster and kinship caregiver programs, and family-law education for parents navigating separation or divorce. Programs are offered throughout Deschutes, Crook, and Jefferson counties, both in person and virtually depending on the program.
Many parenting programs are offered at no cost. Current and recent offerings include Circle of Security, Nurturing Parenting, Active Parenting, The Incredible Years, Zumbini parent-and-child classes, Parent2Parent, and KEEP support for resource, kinship, adoptive, and assisted-guardian families. Offerings change throughout the year, so families should check the current calendar for available programs.
